Lyrics

I saw the crane fly over the road
All the traffic on I94,
And the eagle hunts from powerlines,
And the cougar crossed the Great Divide.
Lord, give me strength in changing winds.
Though light may wane,
It grows again.

Black-eyed Susan in a field plowed for corn:
"Oh well I'm fearfully made to weather the storm."

Painted turtle shining right back at the sun:
"Oh well, its all in good time that this race will be run."

Red-winged blackbird fighting off both hawk and man:
"I've the courage to change the things that I can."

I saw the crane fly over the road
All the traffic on I94,
And the eagle hunts from powerlines,
And the cougar crossed the Great Divide.
Lord, give me strength in changing winds.
Though light may wane,
It grows again.
Though light may wane,
Oh, it grows again.
